The Hiding Place Film

At the end of a 3 week run of shows in Nashville, TN at the Soli Deo Center, we were tasked with turning a live stage play of ‘The Hiding Place’ (adapted by A. S. Peterson and directed for stage by Matt Logan) into a piece exclusively filmed for showing in cinemas worldwide. Taking a stage piece and capturing it for film and celebrating its original form whilst turning it into something new for another medium is no small task. It was a thrill to work to create something new, not just a standard static filming of a live theatrical show but something more immersive and creative. As the editors of the film, along with directing and DP, we were able to add additional scoring and effects and take a beautiful piece by the original creators and translate it for its 2nd intended medium, film.

Additionally we created the marketing content for both the stage play and film - photography, design, film.
